An Introduction

Hello, my name is David Meier and welcome to my first blog. I have been on other peoples blogs before, but this is the first one I have started. I know some of you might be asking, "why, are you doing a blog? You don't need one" Perhaps. But, I have all ways found writing to be enjoyable and a way to express ones feelings when they can not say it in words.


Why the title, "From Paper To Film" Its simple. Its the begining of just about every film. If you dont have a script, you dont have a movie. Now, I would never say that I am an accomplished writer, nor will I say I can out do any accademy award winning screen play. I can't. What I will say is this: I like movies. I allways have and I will continue to. It facinates me. Most people will sit down to watch a movie, 2 hours later get up and leave a cinema before the end credits start rolling. Not me. I stay for the whole thing. And another reason I chose ' the title ( thanks T.H.W.) is because I have a had a story in my head for the longest time. It is now a screenplay. What happens with it, remains to be seen, but I'll say it again, I had a story in my head and one day started writing. No harm in that what so ever.
